I will be honest I went into this nurse coaching session not feeling very optimistic about the results. I didn't think that a nurse could tell me anything about myself I didn't already know. I was wrong. I did not go in with an open mind but I reaped so many positive benefits from my sessions with coach Robyn. There is a warmth to her that makes it so easy to talk to her. I was very impressed with how at home she made me feel. I learned so much about myself from our sessions.
When I started our sessions I had just finalized my divorce. What abhorrible time in my life. I was on 2 antidepressants and I was a rollercoaster of emotions. I was feeling very down, unloved, and hopeless when I was invited into these coaching sessions. I was hesitant because I was not in the mood for therapy. I was in the headspace to live in my depressive episode and essentially sulk.
My friend suggested giving the coaching a try and with great hesitation I agreed and began the conversation. And that's exactly how it started, as a conversation. It wasn't therapy. It was a conversation where we discussed my goals, my wants, my desires, and we created a plan for me to get back on track in life. I learned so much about myself and grew as a person, all thanks to coach Robyn.
I am happy to report I am no longer on antidepressants, and I am a much happier version of myself. I am doing the work to be a version of myself that invites love and warmth into my life. I have a strong foundation that wants to be the best version of myself no matter what that looks like. I appreciate her time and her support.

Prior to our sessions, I was in a personality challenge, almost believing the worst about myself in regards to my relationship and communication with others. Our sessions provided me with several helpful insights. Top was the simple but important idea of checking in or back with people after communication to ensure the intended message was received. Secondly , is giving myself permission to treat me as I would others in the same situation. Prior to our sessions it seemed I was kind to others but hard on myself. Our sessions really addressed the most pressing issue in my life at the time. It was timely and had a positive impact on my wellbeing by reducing the worry and the overall feeling of unhappiness. I had a good experience working with you. You were easy to talk to and you often gave me time to think and process. As far as our coaching relationship was
concerned , I loved that it was taken seriously by you and you created a safe and respectful environment for us to work in. Our coaching relationship brought out the good in me even when I didn’t think it was there at the beginning. I loved the healing capability of the relationship.
Asides those mentioned above, our coaching together helped me set achievable and measurable goals. It also allowed me to see some improvement or positive feedback on my relationship with other people even within the short time we were meeting. Lastly , I learned to do what I would advise a third party to do in a situation - this meant, the ability to be kind to myself.
I have learned to be more mindful in my interactions or communication with others. I have also added the tool of checking in to ensure my intended message was received. This is so important because we unraveled the role misconceptions have played so far in the challenges I was struggling with in my relationships and communication. Finally, I am taking away the insight to prevent myself from being someone else and should be treated as nicely as I treat others.
I would recommend your coaching to my friends and family.

Prior to being coached by Robyn, I had moved in with my significant other in a new town andwas hired into a new job role. I was previously working night shift at an acute care facility and really juggling my newer career and my life changes outside work as well. Being coached by Robyn positively impacted this transition period in my life as we worked through the nuances of moving in with a significant other for the first time, transitioning from one job role and into another, and having to leave friends behind and begin establishing community in a new place. With so many external factors presented as impacting my health and wellbeing, Robyn did a tremendous job refocusing sessions on how each of these things were affecting me personally. My desire to communicate effectively with my partner was at the top of my priority list as we now would be more involved in each other’s day-to-day lives. We were able to set small goals that eventually progressed over time into a more succinct goal that I could take on and felt was the core of what I wanted to address with my partner. Life balance became more challenging as I began my career in a new facility. I felt the pressure was really on in all aspects of my life. The
pressure was coming off all aspects as I was able to hone in on what truly mattered. The overwhelming feeling of the grandiosity of these life changes started to dwindle away as coach Robyn and I tackled each of these areas.
I always looked forward to my time working with coach Robyn as she created a space of safety, openness, and fun. I truly felt comfortable in our sessions and was able to really be vulnerable. I don’t think I would have had as impactful an experience if it weren’t for this safe space we created. I also came to really appreciate that coach Robyn could really take the things I presented and ask very thought provoking questions that brought about great perspective changes. She had a knack for seeking the positives in the messages I was relaying, even when I couldn’t see them myself.
The greatest takeaway from my time with coach Robyn was my spiritual outlook. I have worked a lot on trying to get out of putting so much pressure on myself spiritually. What I came to learn is that I found myself judging my way of living less as I was living in a way that I could appreciate. I felt like I had room to breathe. For anyone that needs a challenge to their current perception of themselves or their circumstance I recommend Robyn as their coach.

Having you as a mindfulness coach was very beneficial for me. I felt at ease during each session as you provided a safe environment conducive to learning and sharing. I learned how impactful it is to make time to be silent and to let go of distractions to enjoy the here and now. Your feedback was always constructive and edifying. Prior to working with Coach Robyn I had lack of self awareness and depression and lack of emotional intelligence. Now I feel that I’m more aligned with myself and am able to hold myself accountable in more situations that have positively impacted my personal and professional relationships. What I loved most about our time together was that you

Before I started working with Robyn, I was feeling overwhelmed—trying to juggle parenting two kids, running a business, and somehow still making space for myself. Robyn was a super positive and upbeat coach. I didn't even realize how "stuck" I was until we started talking. She really encouraged me to dig deeper into what makes me happy and fulfilled beyond the daily tasks I was feeling weighed down by. I felt that in all of our conversations I was very heard by her, she was always completely present and focused on me. As a mom, that doesn't happen often!
After our first session, I came away with some main themes of issues I wanted to work on - she guided me very organically to these themes without pushing. I set some small goals, and she challenged me to be very specific and deliberate about them. By our last session I was already starting to implement the goals in a real way. Some of the insights about myself were so helpful, mainly I was capable of more control over my time and energy when setting specific goals, such as working on a business plan and making time for my own health and workouts.

Before I started working with you, I was feeling kind of stuck and unsure about a few areas in my life. I knew I wanted to make some changes but didn’t really know where to start or how to get out of my own head.

Robyn and I had 4 coaching sessions together, and I can say she was pleasant, professional, and personable.
She listened well, and gave solid advice that I could take action on immediately. I have been struggling with stress and anxiety in my life recently and had a rough plan on steps I was planning on taking to address these issues, and Robyn was the push I needed to make them move into action. Her suggestion to take smaller steps rather than my desired larger steps she felt would make me more likely to begin taking action. She was correct in that I'd wanted to start bigger but it was prohibiting me from starting.
I recommend this coaching to anyone looking to make a positive change in their life.
